The most widely acclaimed of Lucio Fulci's horror films, and arguably his best work; the atmosphere and set pieces are memorable, and even a few of the delirious goofs were intentional, it later turned out. First domestically released in 1984 under the title of "Seven Doors Of Death," reissued restored by Quentin Tarantino's Rolling Thunder banner to theatrical showings in 1998 and soon after debuted as part of a well done series of Fulci DVDs.
