Adaptation of Lawrence Sanders' bestseller was Sinatra's first film in a decade, and last big-screen role (save for a cameo in Cannonball Run II). His work indicated that he still had a command that would have benefited many of the crime dramas of the 70s, had he come out of retirement to grace a few of them.
