Enzo G. Castellari directed this Jaws knockoff; though others in the wake of the blockbuster had obviously given it the spin, this one apparently raised the ire of the producers enough to litigate. The release wasn't impeded though, and some quick profits were made. Interesting that even the ad and poster campaign (including the shark facts spin) was quite close to the original hit and its sequel.
