The Hunter (1980)

The star's final film before his untimely death was an overly criticized action/character piece about real-life bounty hunter Ralph "Papa" Thorson; a low key mixture of action, humor and sentiment worked well most of the time and the star, though ill, was still in full command of his screen presence.
