Name-only sequel to the highly profitable "Macon County Line" with two later hot stars early in their careers (Johnson was a 5 year feature vet, while Nolte was coming in from TV.) Sold similarly but actually far less violent and grim than the previous film, and not as successful at the boxoffice.
