Made quickly during the worldwide cash-in on "The Exorcist" phenomenon, this wasn't released domestically for four years, and then to quick drive-in playoff. Earlier it might have grabbed some of the quick money that other imports such as "Beyond The Door" managed; original, uncut version released to DVD in recent years show it to be one of the better and more stylish efforts of its type.
